Listing Description

You?ll get an introduction to the neuroanatomical findings in children with pervasive developmental disorders. Basic functional neuroanatomy will be discussed and research related to brain-behavior relationships will be emphasized. Specific attention will be given to the relationship between neurological differences in children with PDD from normally developing children. In addition, attendees will learn practical evidenced-based assessment and intervention techniques for working with children with autism. Experimental and unproven methods will be discussed. There will be specific emphasis on best-practices for assessment and intervention.
